6/2/2010 - It's a little late to get a copy, but DJ REAL appears in the April 2010 of San Francisco magazine! Here's the link. 8-29-2009 - DJ REAL is excited to announce that he has started working on a new EP, tentatively titled, "He Put His Hand Through". One of the songs is about a monster messing up some guy's pretty tea party. It's messed up. The album is slated for Fall release date, but stay tuned for more info. While you're at it, read Stephen King's short story, "The Jaunt." 8-28-2009 - Recently DJ REAL performed at Eddie's Nightclub in Monteray, CA. To promote the show, the following two radio spots were created. Radio Spot 1 and Radio Spot 2. It's a little surreal hearing DJ REAL advertised using the "radio commercial" voice.
8-27-2009 - Work has begun on a music video for the DJ REAL song "Forsaken", which should be completed within the next couple weeks. If you've ever been forsaken, or had someone hide a werewolf in your birthday cake, you'll want to stay tuned! 5-25-2009 - Famed singer/songwriter and Hotel Utah Open Mic host JJ Shultz performed a cover of the DJ REAL song "Who Keeps Using All My Shampoo" at the Cover Your Friends Song Night at last Monday's show. Revel in it's acousticness!
5-24-2009 - DJ REAL wrote the theme music for a web series! It's called Elevators to Space, and it stars Alex Koll, Louis Katz, Chris Garcia, and Sean Keene. The opening theme was arranged and performed by Craig Billmeier. The closing theme was arranged and performed by DJ REAL. There's three episodes out right now, and a bunch more coming soon. The film crew at Bricks and Mortars Media have been working really hard on a
documentary film about the Hotel Utah in San Francisco. The documentary. DJ REAL
was lucky enough to be able to perform while the camera's were rolling. Check

11-08-2008 - In promotion of the new album, Chad and Joe (previously of the Chuck Hestons) got together for Chad's radio show (90.1 WECS), and did a whole show about DJ REAL. It was really cool. They played songs from each of the albums, some live stuff, and even played tracks of bands that are big influences on DJ REAL's music. 8-25-2008 - The new DJ REAL album entitled: Personal Growth is completed! The CD Release Party will be September 18th at the Dark Room Theatre in San Francisco, CA, where special Editions of the album will be made available for a limited time. This show will feature the Foxtails Brigade, and a ton of surprises. The album will also be available to purchase in MP3 format on September 18th, at a number of websites.
